Description
A Hook Lock is a mechanical deadlock operating independently from the manufacturers' locking system. A deadlocking hook bolt engages into its opposing body section. Operated by its high-security external key under full control of the driver.
 
A Deadlock is a mechanical device operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. It is very similar to the hook lock however this lock engages a 20mm or 50mm 'straight bolt' into its opposing body section. Operated by its high-security external key under full control of the driver.
 
Suitable for owner-drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock.
We may suggest a Hook Lock depending on vehicle model and application. Both deadlock and Hook Lock operate to the same principles.
 
The lock case has a compact footprint permitting several fitting positions
60% less metal is removed from the structural part of the door during installation compared to other hook lock cases, resulting in the most effective security
Black lock case gasket supplied as standard
Lock kits are vehicle specific
L4V cylinders, housings, and plugs are plated in highly durable satin nickel to maintain a long-lasting appearance and consistent performance
L4V black nylon external barrel trims supplied as standard to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle
Satin nickel-plated brass barrel trims, oversized black barrel trims, and angled black barrel trims are also available
Kits available in T-Series and S-Series key systems
This kit supplied with 3 T-series keys
T-series keys are manufactured from nickel silver for strength and durability
Key bow (head) designed specifically for automotive applications, providing extra grip and comfort in use

To maintain key security and control, this key can only be supplied by our lock manufacturer, L4Vlinder assembly into the door in the following order (from the outside) cylinder,bezel and gasket. Fit  the internal shield inside the door aperture, then fit and tighten the 30mm cylinder nut. Disengage the manufacturer's lock mechanism cable and connect it to the slamlock cylinder.

THIS BASE PRICE IS FOR SUPPLY ONLY OF ONE SINGLE LOCK KIT FOR THE REAR BARN DOORS OF YOUR VAN.TAILGATE OPTION, NEARSIDE & OFFSIDE SIDE LOAD DOORS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.

When you order a product for "Mobile Fitting", it will be reserved from stock held at our installation centre. After you've completed the checkout process we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for fitting at your chosen location. Our mobile fitting team will bring all products you have purchased for installation on the day selected. Please remember your van must be parked on private land during installation.
